I just did a ladder predictor which has us finishing 4th if we win all 3 remaining matches.
Problem is that we would be facing the Lions at the Gabba.

Lose this week and we almost certainly miss finals.
Hawks remaining 2 games against Richmond and North.
On the other hand if we win our remaining 3 matches then coming 4th a good chance.

and i think this year more than any other, with 4 interstate teams looking like top 4. if you're not in the 4, winning a gf is mission impossible.

There's a real possibility that anyone 7-8 will have to travel interstate every week until the GF...

On paper and in theory yes but a team with momentum and a making their own luck is every chance to pull it off

Make Finals and this year is anyone's year. Alot has changed in last 5 weeks, as will happen in the next 8 weeks.

I expected a Carlton v Brisbane GF this year, and if I didn't include Carlton in GF, it would be Lions v Dogs for my 2nd year running.

I expect Carlton to play in the GF.

Will be difficult finishing 4th place, but it can happen with GWS, Freo, Dogs and Cats playing crucial games whereby some will lose at least one game

End up 4th and we play first Final at SCG or Gabba, after a week's rest. Then get another week's rest after that. Get TDK and Cerra back.
End up 5th or 6th and we play a Home Final after a week's rest, possibly without TDK and Cerra, then one week at a time, intestate and home ending at the G in the Final game.

One win at a time from here on end.
We won 9 straight last year, so no reason why we can't win 6 or 7 in a row this year.
