Hawthorn just belted Collingwood and got up over Footscray!

Def. a chance to beat Melbourne

Agree. Melbourne were seriously impressive against us.

Plus the Hawks have a couple of pretty big injuries

Unlike Coll and Port who have for whatever reason taken the foot off the pedal of late, the Dees has been very tough and won most games many of which have been against very good sides.

Hawks beat Coll who have lost multiple games of late and the Dogs are pea hearts.

It would be very surprising if Melb lose this weekend and even more surprising if they lose this weekend and next weekend.
Not even worth thinking about.

I'm thinking about it anyway and you can't stop me!

I was hoping for a Hawks upset but Mitch Lewis is a huge loss. Averaging two and a half goals a game this year.

The only team to beat Melbourne this year.

We are a good football side but need a tad more luck on the injury front.

Get a couple back towards end of the season and we can roll anyone

Just heard Brisbane are 49-8 at the Gabba since 2019. That’s extraordinary. 84%

Best to avoid that fixture if possible

For some reason I think we could make them shit themselves there. But that's a long way off

Each time we go there I think that. Then we get pummelled.

Every year though when finals come around I just think of Brisbane as NPCs

I hate to say it, but a Collingwood win could be good for us tonight. If Melbourne can get above Brisbane or Port and finish 2nd or 3rd, we can potentially go all the way to a flag without leaving the G.

If Collingwood lose week 1, we'll have them week 2 and can kock them out in straight sets.

Then if Melbourne win their qualifying final, we'll meet thm in the prelim and probably have Port or Bris at the G in the Granny.

Hell yeah... and playing last in R24 lets us decide whether it's worth going hard or just treating it like a training run.

That win *almost* secures us a home final.

St Kilda and Sydney are the only teams that can overtake us. We would have to lose to GWS and they would both have to win both their games. Sydney would also have to make up 4% as well. If that happened, we would end up 7th and play Sydney in Sydney, which would be a shit result.

But Swans have Adelaide in Adelaide and then Melbourne, while St Kilda have Geelong and then Brisbane at the Gabba, so it’s extremely unlikely that all 4 of those will be wins. In fact in every one they'll be underdogs
