We are experiencing a few heavy showers here and there.
Just had a downpour
Not windy
Expecting a few light showers tomorrow morning with this trough, then drying up in the afternoon.
Should be still and cool tomorrow night. Around 18 degrees at 7.30pm.

It has been a long time waiting, but we will finally get to see the 2 best TAC wingers in 2022 in action together again in 2025.

Binns playing attacking wing
Hollands playing defensive wing

Both can run all day, and 2 of our best 3 endurance runners at the club; Cottrell slightly ahead.

Good luck to them, and may this be the beginning of something great for the club.

Fair call too. Good to see the young ones pressing their claim.
Wilson had a great first half but faded in the 2nd half last week.

Interesting to note, Docherty and Cincotta are the only players over 21yo in our VFL team.
Swans VFL team have Taylor Adams, Hayden McLean over 21yo.

Swans have 2 boys playing from our local team, Maroubra Saints: Longmire and Kirk.
Yep both from the Academy The 3rd Bra boy also from the Academy, Errol Gulden not playing.

Notable players missing for Swans is McDonald, Gulden, Papley, Mills, Melican, Fox and Cunningham.

Great opportunity for a win at the SCG.

Hewett to lock on Heeney should do the job.

I doubt Doc will play VFL, likely he will be the one held over as emergency for the seniors. I hope Hayes makes the trip up to fill the experience gap.

Unless Boyd is named as sub and Ollie is needed in defence. Hopefully it will be White or Evans named as sub.

Pissing it down in the Shire right now. Some wretched weather on the way, including my birthday dammit, but you're right that if the SCG drainage is up to modern standards then playing conditions tomorrow night should be OK

wet is good. it'll make the ground seem bigger, and the play more contested. a dry track up there is a nightmare for us, we spend the whole night chasing.

Watching the birds origin last night and it was absolutely throwing it down in Parra. Any of that make it to SCG/eastern suburbs?

I'm hoping for a grinding win this week, like last week.
I only watched the game yesterday, a lot of maturity with the team as the season goes on.
I really like Lord's game, he's coming along nicely.
Our defence is starting to be a real danger for teams, JSOS is in stellar form and Haynes is looking like he has more years in him.
Time to back it up with this lot.
Hopefully it's wet and we grind them into the ground.

Drizzle this morning stopped on the coast (near SCG) around 8.30am.
Sunny patches showing now as the cloud id lifting.
If this continues, the night will be dry and the track a tad slippery.

Hope they are "on" early, some interstate games (Crows, EF Brisbane), we just don't seem focused to play and get wildly out-possessed and the whole team defensive system collapses.
I assume they will stand around for twenty minutes or so for the aboriginal thingy which maybe doesn't help the focus from rooms to first contests.
