I been banging on that the best bottom 6 players get you over the line in big games
That’s what happened last night
O,Riordan, Bell,Ladhams, Wicks, struggled
Yeah, sure, it's all about you as usual.
Let's just forget the 90% of your recent posts.
How about this gem from 8 days ago?

As the season rolls on the best indicator of where you are at in terms of numbers is your %.
We rank 8 th in that area which is a more true indicator of where you are at relative to the 17 other teams.
Yet what you read from posters is where
Top 4
Top 4…..
We are a fair way off it.
Or this one from 4 weeks ago...
Quote:
That folks is where we are at
We have so many overpaid overrated players
Not much has changed from last year
Or this when we were 4-1

Not much has changed
As for our supporters cheering the team off yeah I get it
We are 4 and 1.
When’s the last time that happened.
But clearly they have no idea if they think we are much better in 2022.
Or this when we were 3-1

Welcome to Carlton
The three wins masked the usual problems
Of course if your dumb you would think we were back
So yeah, what you've been "banging on about" is 99% negative garbage. So don't come on here attempting to claim any credit or credibility. You've been taking great pleasure in kicking the shit out of the team for years. The club is 8-2.
And that has @#$%&! all to do with what you've been "banging on about".
I reckon you need to get a life if you look back at other posts and quote them
But just for some balance
There are 12 games to go. Anything can happen. The last 2 weeks have been significant particularly Friday night.
And you know what. If we continue to get better I’m more than happy to say I got it wrong.
Unlike you I can admit to getting it wrong although I might be wrong there too.
Interesting we won with no
Martin
McGovern
Williams
Setterfield
Tell me mate what does that say about overpaid players and the importance of recruiting.
Things have improved partly to SOS sticking the pacifier in and ducking off and Austin coming in
Young
Carroll
Durdin
Can’t imagine SOS finding those gems
Can you
I have been on this site for 16 years bagging this clubs obvious shortcomings and got it right given how shit we have been
Happy to get “some” things wrong.
I would seriously get a hobby
Sure mate, I like what Austin is doing but bagging SOS is a bit silly seeing as though 14 of the 23 in the squad Friday night were players he recruited.
Shit can Williams, Martin and even McGovern all you like but they would add to our team and be best 22 as well when/if their bodies are right.
H was also recruited by SOS just for the record.
I have read some of your other garbage that said we needed to start again & it appears to me you have been refusing to acknowledge how long it takes to build a list from scratch which is what the club embarked on at the end of 2015. From Friday nights team, only Cripps and Docherty were on the list at the end of 2015. For perspective, Sydney had 6 players that were on the list in 2015 and I would describe them as core senior players (Rampe, Lloyd, Heeney, Kennedy, Parker and Franklin). We never had the luxury of building around a core because SOS's predecessors completely butchered things.
There are sure to be speed bumps this season and probably even next but @#$%&! me BLIND FREDDY can see we are building something pretty good here.
Instead of pretending to "add balance" try supporting and enjoying the ride - I think it's going to be a bloody good one.
It’s interesting when I read some of this stuff .
I’m the first to say that the club needs stability off the field.
Do you agree with that.
You can’t have stability when you sack the last 7 coaches before their contracts are up right or wrong choice
Not to mention cronies at the top.
Handing out jobs for the boys. And on Silvangi.
You make multitude decisions with trades and picks
You get some right
Some wrong
But he held us back no doubt
Rather than look at the garbage I have written find the post with all the players he recruited that I listed
Fasolo…
That’s a start
His best effort was his first draft
He had an eye for key position talent
But midfielders
Nah
Except the obvious like Walsh
McGovern has been a disaster
Setterfield likewise
People like Patty Kinnersley and Brian Cook are the people needed at the top.
Get that right and everything flows like crystal running water
Have the wrong people at the top like Sticks and all that flows downstream is shit
When Luke Sayers was interested in Ross Lyon I thought we are still ducked
Here we go again
But finally some sanity and logic finally after 2 decades prevailed
Lyon is outdated and clearly doesn’t respect people particularly from the opposite gender.
Check out one of our VP’s jobs.
She obviously didn’t want him
If you pour through all the garbage I have written through the years the underlying theme has been who runs the club at the top.
It’s not Luke Sayers
It might be by name but he was well and truly put in his box when it came to appointing Lyon by the board he runs.
And that my friend was the start of things turning around
Unless we fall off the cliff we should play finals
I was skeptical
Particularly in relation to the Hawks and Port games
Thanks to Weiters in the dying stages in both games we got 8 points there
The improvement of guys like O’Brien and the injection of Durdin etc has been pivotal
Confidence has grown
It’s great
But it’s big pic stuff my friend
It all starts at the very top
