Weitering and Casboult have been disappointing.

Lots of others have been good. Cripps, Murphy, Ed, Marchbank, Jones, Wright, Charlie, Garlett.

Incredibly, incredibly inconsistent umpiring when it comes to 'holding the ball'.

Real shame about Kennedy.

If you go to handball, don't and get caught then kick it is it holding the ball?

Note to players if you’re in position to take possession of the ball in a tight contested ball situation and you’re wearing a blue jumper, don’t.

we won the first half - well done boys

shattered about Kennedy... SPS might get looked at for the sling tackle as well

got to get the ball to Charlie up forward and Jack needs to find space as well

Mullett looked steady, good on him so far

I haven't read this whole thread ... But the umpires are having a shocker right? Both ways but wow it's frustrating

Weitering looks lost... Silvagni is the invisible man

Their forward pressure is starting to hurt us but it's good to be in front at half time

Great start, very exciting to watch. Will be a battle now. I suspect the hardened bodies will win out in the end. Kennedy is a huge loss.

Umps gave us 2-3 bullshit frees in the first 5 min then realised Bitchmond are wearing yellow and black. We have been reamed essentially since that time, not only with poor decisions Daisy several times for example but the non decisions are also now significant.
flower umpires useless pricks!

Working hard but minimal impact. Should have won that free in time on.

I agree. I really like Byrne, but Mullet's looked far more poised tonight on the big stage. Obviously got his nerves out in that first JLT game.
