Who does Watson have to screw to get a game? Surely it's time to relegate Wood and play Kreuz and Cas as rucks with Watson forward?!

Doubt anyone really cares but I think there is a nice piece of symmetry in Gold Coast's first and 100th matches both being against us. I was at their first game and plan to be there on Sunday. Let's see if we can better the 119-point thrashing we dished out on that night!

5 years of average play in the bullants isn't undone with one bag of goals. The seniors also had a very rare win, so why unbalance a forward line that has been functioning well with the slowest player we have?

Really keen to see BB. Hopefully we can leave him in the side for 2-3 weeks and just see how he adapts.

x a million.

watson doesn't have the minimum athletic requirement for afl football. he's an up and down career ressie player. people get enamoured with his left foot ... but there's no point as he rarely has the time and athleticism required to get it off in the afl.

Leslie, Shaw, Wright named in GC reserves so their final bench should be Malceski, Sexton, Raines and Lemmens.

Just booked a long term park at Melbourne Airport ... using the link advertised here!

Nothing to do with this thread, but I feel pretty good about it.

(My understanding is that it helps the site if advertisers see their links here bringing in business. If that's not the case then mods please change my happy icon to a dumb arse one).

Shit aye.

I'd have had $$ on BB getting a run but happy for Holman.

Either Holman or Ellard will be sub you'd expect. Hopefully Ellard. I'd certainly prefer Boekhorst playing rather than Ellard, but maybe since Boekhorst still needs to build his tank they believe it is better for him to stay in the VFL rather than being sub in the AFL. I dunno, I'm not sure why else they'd continue putting games into Ellard rather than Boekhorst.

Ellard??

Are you kidding me.
The pefect game to blood Boekhurst or give Tutt another chance.
Is this the coach worrying too much about the result.
Ellard is finished as an AFL footballer. No matter how nice a guy or how hard he works, this is a waste of valuable playing time.

Looks like one new midfielder at time.

Graham has picked up the tempo, now it's Holmans turn after some good magoos form.

I reckon Ellard will get the vest as well.

Although mature BB is still in his first season, same as Walsh and Whiley.

Looks to be methodical and not results driven to me.
