Got that lucky HTB decision/chasedown, otherwise, thought he was pretty poor.

With a mixture of good and bad, I'd say his game was average.

I know he only played as a sub but Byrne will make Yarrans life much, much easier when he's fit.

We are missing the run of Sheehan and Byrne and that makes it much harder for Yarran to be an attacking HBF.

Thought Yarran was average. Worst part was his disposal. Lots of dinky short stuff which a lot of the time fell short of the target.

My just turned 10yo begged me to take her to the footy today since her netball team had the bye... I'm so glad I gave in to her (again).
At the end of the game she said I knew we would win today daddy, we sang the song and dance around like crazy. We got our jam donuts for the walk back to the car with big smiles on our faces..

Boys were good today, great effort all over the park.

Just got home from the game.

We haven't won a game on home soil for 315 days - that's a lot of pent up energy. Small crowd but crikey were we vocal. MAN that felt good.

Patrick Cripps is an absolute monster. 30+ posessions. Double figure clearances and tackles. About 3 goal assists that I can think of. Handy as a second man up in the ruck. Good head on his shoulders. A natural leader. At numerous centre bounces I watched the Port players bump, nudge and elbow him... trying to throw him off balance or break his concentration. He just took it, took it, took it... then when the umpire bounced the ball he brushed his opponent aside, hit the pack at speed and got it out to our advantage. Stitch this kid up for 10 years SOS!

Bell keeps improving, but really does need to work on his decision making. Like Cripps, cannot be easily budged. Shame he's 24...

Graham reminds me of Mclean. No stand-out attributes, but a smart footballer. Hope we keep giving him time to develop, could be very handy.

Graham reminds me of a poor man's Anthony Stevens.

Deceptive goal sense.

How much better do we look without the Madhouse in charge. The danger is in thinking that Barker is the answer. He is doing ok but lets face it, when you have been taken to the bottom and forced to play a football style that just does not work in the modern game, anyone was going to be an improvement.

Well done today Blues!

Wanted to mention Rowe. Thought he was great today. So sure in the air. A long way from earlier in the year where he barely looked like a footballer. Funny thing confidence.

The only positive thats come from the Madhouse error (err .. I mean era)

Good point on Rowe. I'm always quick to bag him, but should give him credit when deserved.

Yep he almost does as much dumb stuff as good.
I think we can all put the Macloed talk away.
If a club offers a first rounder I think you take it, just to get another elite young mid through te door, though in saying tat Yazz would be handy forward I suppose. Give him half a yard remotely near goal and it's goodnight Irene he's that silky near goal.
I think he lacks decision making and hence struggles at times down back. And i also think he is prone to getting frustrated down back. Up forward he just gets a fix on the goals, sells a bit of candy and he's off !

the effects on the overall playing list over micky reign has been gut wrenching to watch
the list was never as bad as most made out as is quite evident to see but we are coming back from 2+ years from deplorable coaching and the lack in development in that time but it’s nice to see the youngsters are growing with the freedom and responsibility allowed to them
The clouds have been lifted by the death of the vicious, cruel, self-serving and greedy ruler and the kingdom has rejoiced
