But why are people making such a fuss about Sticks not knowing about our approach to Wright in the first place?

Because there's supposedly a handover taking place. e.g Sticks and LoGu are the two negotiating the MCG arrangement. And any 'interim' decisions are 'meant' to go via committee.

It's a scary place this holding pattern...I'd suggest we run out of fuel and crash before we land. They're all scrambling for parachutes on 'board'.

I was thinking that our recruiters must over analyse and confuse themselves, either that or trying to impress people with their trickery of unearthing something random that no one else sees the same value in. I put Bootsma and Cripps into this category.

Why get first rounders that we either have to put weight on, take weight off, can't kick etc

Sticks doesn't think Rogers is gone. Maybe he just doesn't know yet or maybe he's bluffing, or maybe this is the truth.

So Sticks' idea is to throw more money at it and load the place up with more yes men and mediocrity?
