Should be a good game.

Hopefully the sakcing of Bootsma will fire the boys up more than the Cats losing by the ton last week.

I reckon it'll galvanise us to make it a lot closer than people think

Stop being jerks about this. It's a touchy subject with no happy ending.

Oh yeah, Geelong will be packing themselves about Jeffy, Sydney throw the kitchen sink at them with Buddy, Goodes and Tippet and we are set to launch a massive offensive with one timid amigo, they will squash him like a little ant.

I was hardly shocked at our showing against Brisbane as I knew we sucked to begin with.

Geelong by 732 points.

Geelong seething from the 110 point loss in the last round.
Carlton embarrassed from losing against the bottom team for the 2nd time this year.

Well Carlton is used to losing but Geelong isnt.
Carlton use to match up well against Geelong.

The game is not at Kardinia Park.
The game is on neutral agound: The Dome.

They are the better team on paper.
They are higher on the ladder.
They have been the best team in the AFL over a decade.

Time for a change?
Anything can happen.

Judd Walker Curnow Armfield all possible inclusions.
They would have made a difference to the result last week.
They may make a difference to our chance of winning.

Normally I'd say we are a chance.
They were humiliated last week and have the talent to make up for the loss.
Damn. I wish they'd won, and Enright, Macca and Loneghan were rested for one more week, but the'll be back.

Oh shit :|
Anything can happen.

Geelong are not a bottom team.....we're a chance :sly:

Geelong actually pants us at the Dome, we usually perform better against them at the G.

Fitness and athletic output should be at a premium at the selection table, which leaves me thinking along the lines of:

Out: Carrazzo (go and get fit), Robinson (go and get fit)
In: Armfield (one week out won't hurt your pace and fitness), Judd (training the house down)

Sub: Buckley (stocked a plenty in the small/medium defender role and is probably a bit ragged)

Special mention to Curnow - who is another that should resume via the VFL - and Ellard who was clearly rushed back too early because of Garlett's form. Here's your chance Jeff.

Tom Browne (Ch. 7) reporting that Judd will line up in the VFL.

It s funny when stations are obviously guessing in an attempt to get an 'exclusive' before the other.
