ˆˆ In MM's system getting your hands to the ball first is premium. A tap ruckmen who wins 75% + and at least spoils a contest around the ground is more important than a mobile ruck who can run the pants off his opposition, create a contest, take a mark push forward and grab a goal (like a healthy Kruezer can) ...

Kreuzer would thrive in the Hawks, Swans, Adelaide & West Coast system. Run and carry teams, high possession teams. Not so much in the long kicking game like we have here.

I like we are finally going to give Kreuzer time to get healthy and get right. The thought of a 25 year old, finally healthy, coming into his prime Kreuzer is a good asset to have.

If Mick is here, he's perfect 1st round trade fodder. If MM has been given the Ratten/ Brittain/ Pagan treatment and we ever decide to become a short kicking run & carry team (imo, this list's premium strength) a healthy Kreuzer would be a big part of our core.

I think a healthy Kreuzer in the right system, is an all out gun. Hopefully there's no degenerative aspect to his injuries and he comes back 110% stronger and faster!!

He's a likeable kid the way he gets after it. Imagine Gibbs with Kreuzer's desire? It'd be like a silky smooth Joel Selwood.

..I agree that krooz's natural game is hindered by mm system, but it doesn't favour knockers either.. ..no ruck wins 75% of stoppages on a consistent basis, that's an insane amount and ratio.. ..and knockers isn't involved in play once the ball leaves the stoppage, he also doesn't push back hard to help defence to be extra man in marking contests.. ..for all his talk, mm didn't last season and also this season, does not by his actions have faith in knockers to be main ruck.. ..we simply have rushed krooz back from every injury and setback he has had.. ..this is two coaches with two different coaching panels and mc groups..

..ppl want and hope to turn krooz more into a fwd cos we have woeful kpp stocks, and we are desperate..

..krooz in a flag contender team injury free would be a brownlow smokey..

I actually believe it's the opposite. Those sides have ruckman that have a physical presence around the contest and give there running players first use. Part of the reason I believe the Swans has struggled is the loss of Mumford. It's why Hawthorn paid so much for McEvoy.

MM said it himself. Kruezer is too small to be a number 1 ruck. If he wasn't injured he was going to be played forward and used as a second ruck. If our coach is thinking that how can we expect him to be any different?

If he could spread and read the play he would be fine but he can't

Should of traded him

He is shaping up that way. Here is hoping he gets his body completely right - then can strong together some good performances towards the end of the year...

....so he regains some value and we can get someone to bite for a first round pick
