One thing MM didn't change about the game plan is where we kick it from the middle straight to the opposition's extra defender at half back.

Totally agree - why go for the ball?

Keep your feet. Took the soft option. Should have burnt off Petrie with a clean pickup.

Yarran looks to be in a good frame of mind. Lots of mistakes, but this has to be expexted in Feb

Scrappy game. To be expected. Warnock getting plenty of hitouts to North's advantage. He's hopeless so far. Big useless giraffe.

Everitt, Cachia, Menzel, Watson encouraging. Buckley popping up. Brock 3 early clearances. Zach kicking long.

Not a bad first qrt, considering the ball was in Norths forward half for most of the time its surprising we are in front.
Good start by Everitt and Watson.
Do our jumpers look darker than usual?

You can tell Everitt is from another team. Only one who lowers his eyes going forward.

Inclined to agree BS on what we have seen in the past and what has transpired today - giraffe is an apt description. Let's hope the giraffe can take a mark above his head.

Mick giving a very firm message to Bootsma as well.
