Quite confident.

Reckon Tippett may prove their undoing, and may end up playing one tall too many on the small ground.

In: McInness, Yarran
Out: Rowe, Murphy (inj),

Expecting Carrazzo to play.

We'll beat these birds.

Doubts about his fitness to run out the game Bondi (and Effes  ), I'll be surprised if he plays at this stage.

He was selected to hopefully play against the Hawks.
MM said he was close.
Surely he is ready 2 weeks later after such a cautious approach.

Ball magnet. Tough.
He should be able to run out a game. Can be subbed out if he isn't match fit.

I hope he plays. He will be jumping out of his skin.

If they had doubts about him running out a game they would have played him with Northern yesterday.

6 day back-up after the NB game complicates things..

Rexy yes it would be however we wont be at full strength either, so Murphy missing is offset by Goodes not playing.

It's not often that teams are at full strength anyway.

Just win!

With Goodes out; Who's going to umpire?

On the Seven News they mentioned Sam Reid and Lewis Jetta are also out for this game.

They had vision of Carrots participating at training, so is a chance

We have a great chance to win this.

Our last 2 performances against Bumbers and Hawks is enough proof that we are ready for these guys. Plus a bye to freshen up...primed imo.

Tippett has never impressed me.
I have seen him have good games where the ball sticks and he kicks straight, but that's been rare. Last weekend he looked crap imo. A big lard..Jammo will have his measure.

Goodes out vs Murphy out...nullify each other.

They have other key players missing

KP's / Ruck: Reid, LRT, Mumford, Everitt
HB/ Wing: Jetta Shaw

Lets get 'em on the rebound....after a 6 day break from a bruising game in the wet.

No excuses.

I don't think rain will be pelting down on Friday night...showers decreasing by Wednesday...might have a couple early showers as they clear for the sunny weekend.

I am excited!!!!!!!
Sitting in the SCG members....barracking for the Bluebaggers...LOUDLY.

I'll be listening out for the TC group headed by Dr Sherrin with a coupla Sydney based TCers.....lets shout the house down!!!!!

Dont do it to me Agro......couldn't stand it.

Doubt it will happen at the SCG.
We need to clog up their midfield as much as they will try and clog ours.
Don't let them hit up a leading FF.
Just stop them in the guts and tackle them relentlessly.

I believe the rest will help us and the slog they experienced will set them back.
I know they're an outfit to be feared and on the rebound.
But the Adelaide "peak form" game of there's was a few weeks back now.
They haven't been on fire since.

I'm confident we will not be blown away as some have suggested for this game, and the previous 2...but that's what happened to supporters confidence last year and the first 3 rounds got us all thinking we can't keep up.

IMO only the Saints game was pitiful...and even that was a 9 point win for them when we missed shots in front of goal...so if we kick straight...we're a great chance.

Carlton midfielder Andrew Carrazzo will be available for selection for Friday night's clash against Sydney at the SCG, while injured skipper Marc Murphy may be only a week away.

Good news there.

Hopefully they (Sydney) stick with a tall team.

Yarran and Carrots for Murph and Boots is my guess.

If there is no case to answer, then maybe we can have our runners wear red and white tracksuits?
