Its pointless having him there if his opponents simply run away with the ball. As happened too often last season.
Lets hope he can improve that aspect with increased opportunity as he has too much talent to play the roles he has to date.
..Gibbs was excellent in the middle in mid/late 2009 when he was given a consistent run at it, prior to the whole 1/4back reprogramming role he was given.. ..i do think his best [individually and for the team] role though is half fwd first, run thru the middle 2nd.. ..our team really lacks the connection between attack and defense..
