Farewell Jordan. Has there ever been a more average footballer to play over 100 games for Carlton? I can't think of one.

Brad Fisher?

99 for Fish.

Simon Wiggins.

PS Farewell Jordy and good luck. I was never overly enamoured with him as a player but the couple of great games against Stevie J wil be how I remember him.

That's two players we would have lost, what happened with your maths? Wouldn't it be a third rounder for Thornton (provided both are taken by another club)?

How many VAFA/VFL/AFL games did you play Doc?

maybe he means average as in 'he is the very definition of the typical modern day footballer?'

Surely he wouldn't be kicking him at this stage?

No surely not. No one on TC would kick a man when he is down.

One season in the VAFA Cazz. Amateur footy wasn't a wise idea when you're playing another sport professionally... Anything else or am I not entitled to an opinion?

Very sad to see him go...Jordy was one of the good blokes. After meeting him a few times through our sponsorship group he always took the time to have a chat when our paths crossed.

Best of luck wherever you end up Jordy.

What Mrs Caz said. I was hoping that he would stay on the list and benefit from a new environment. Best of luck with everything in the future Jordan and thank you for the service to the Carlton Football Club.

When was the last time we traded a player with currency at the right time?
Our list management is deplorable.

Could have got valuable picks for both Russell and Thornton.

The same will likely happen to Hampson in the near future.

Surely we at least test the market for one of Hampson/Kruezer or Warnock, and one of Duigan/Tuohy/Armfield/Joseph/Davies.

Why we re-signed Ellard Joseph and Davies last year just boggles my mind.

Not what I read. I heard it was players not salary.

Disappointing. I liked the kid and hate losing players for nothing, especially another top 10 draft pick.
Gosh the arguments for tanking just keep mounting, don't they!!!!!

"Man that Jordan Russell's average"
