Mitchell's not ready but I hope McCarthy, ROK & Lucas play.

Will Rohan Kerr get a run - considering that is what he has been doing for the Northern Blues.

Kerr's arm was in a sling at Saturdays NB game. He appeared to be the midfield line coach that day.

after the week we have whatever team takes the park you would expect a decent level of effort if not skill. Stuff the result. Rest the injured. Play the kids and the retired, free burgers and chips for kids at the Odin will be nice in WA

Wait, I thought it was massively important that we don't win anymore games this year? Or is everything fixed now?

It's a dead rubber. I would advocate to the AFL that it should be free entry and if 5 goals are kicked each quarter - free beer. I would also like to lobby the AFL to allow cigar smoking in the AFL members. Also, half-time sprint featuring half a dozen King Street strippers. Stuff the kids and their auskick shenanigans - give me some real entertainment god damn it!

If it's a dead rubber then it is the perfect time to play all of the guys on our list who we haven't seen in the seniors this year don't you think? I'd find that pretty entertaining, how about you?

Nah...I'd prefer to pay $15 bucks for some headphones on (free) entry to the stadium which enabled the fan (me) to listen to the coaches box to runner. I would also like to go into the draw to be one of 30 people to go out onto the ground at quarter time and 3/4 time and listen to coaches message. Perhaps on the way out give Ratts a traditional Australian hug or a kiss or a lick, a grope on the arse or a dry root, Its still the most appropriate way, I think, of showing one's exubberance and excitement, and its certainly the most masculine and manly way of going about it.

Did I mention you get to keep the headphones?

Wow, you really have a man-crush on Ratten, how about you go and create your own thread where you can rant about your obsession and leave us to talk about the game?

Maybe it should be an offence to post while under the influence.....

Who, pray tell, is 'us'??...no one is talking about it! No one! I'm going down to Visy Park on Thursday morning just to make sure they haven't already gone on vacation. If I see anything, I'll report back to you in Singapore, sinbagger. Over and out. Captain. Aye-aye. Yes Sir. You can't handle the truth! Did you order the Code Red? You're Goddamn right I did!

Open your eyes and read the thread, there are people who are discussing the game. If you have no newest in the match then why post here? Go away and post in one of the 100 sakc everyone threads.

@MattThompsonAFL: Andrew McKay interjects, tries to steer media away from Ratten issue and onto the game.

Went as expected then :-)

Me too. I also think we should pull a swifty and list him in the official squad as 'Romeo Smith'.

Do people actually get paid to write this rubbish?

Quote:
3. The Blues' kicking efficiency was a glaring issue against the Suns, with Jarrad Waite and Levi Casboult among the main culprits with a combined output of 2.9 in front of goal. The key forwards are at different ends of their career, but both will be expected to lift their games this week. They'll have no excuses under the roof at Etihad.

Levi has a split Kidney, pretty good excuse I would think... :screwy:

4. With finals out of the equation, the Blues might take the opportunity to have a look at a few of their untried youngsters. Tall prospects Luke Mitchell and Patrick McCarthy are in the mix to make their debuts. The pair hasn't managed to break into the side, despite Carlton's injury woes, and fans will be desperate for a chance to see either player show some positive signs to take into the off-season.

Ummm they have been injured for most of the season. :banghead:

These amateurs get paid to produce absolute shite.

The majority are a bunch of backslapping egotistical tossers....get all the perks and are allowed to write trash at the same time. What a job!

Didn't he have a shoulder op last week?

There may not be a lot to get excited about for this match so it's worthy that the CFC sell it as an opportunity to see the future.
It's our home game and we sill still want the money. Mitchell and McCarthy should both get the gigs bringing our player count used this year to 41.

Will be interesting as to whether Lucas gets a game. Could say something if he does.
O'Keeffe should be in, no question.
