thats ridiculous. Everyone knows he would have played this week with Hampson out, that should count. Or he should be able to play this week in the seniors, and then miss the week after when the vfl is back.

Makes as much sense as the tribunal, none

Reckon it'll work in our favour if he is ineligible to play this week....

I would like to see us have a few training runs at Docklands over the next few weeks. It hasn't been a happy ground for us in recent times, although didn't we have a good run sometime in 2008 or 2009?? Anyway, I'm nervous about this game, North always seems to have our measure for some reason, but would LOVE to play them at the MCG and utterly humiliate them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Etihad don't allow too many training sessions there.

ˆˆ They said he'd have a full hitout on Sunday, full contact. How he pulls up will depend if he plays.

He also said he lost 4-5 kilos and mostly all upper body strength. Makes me wonder how much effectiveness he might lose being lighter/ weaker?

Be great to see him back, but not if he's gonna risk himself.

Hopefully the MC came to the realisation that our strength is about run and carry and pace. We need to play a running side and the ability to get the ball inside 50 quickly is a key.

Out: Hampson Simpson Curnow
In: Henderson Murphy Lucas

B: Joseph Jamison McInness
HB: Yarran Watson Touhy

C: Gibbs Carrazzo Scotland
Foll: Kruezer Judd Murphy

HF: Garlett Duigan Robinson
F: Betts Henderson Walker

Int: Armfield Lucas Collins (McLean)

Absolutely vital that we string several weeks of good performances together after two months of very average ones.

North are in the papers getting themselves pumped up for their annual Friday night game again.

For the second post in a row I agree with you with one exception : I'd make Lucas the sub. I don't think McLean deserves that role after Friday night, nor do I think he's the best type of player to make a late "impact".

Maybe and thats probably what will happen. I just see McLean as the perfect sub. If someone is injured he can come on early and make an impact and if he comes on late the pace is out of the game and he won't be exposed as much.
