All this reference to Richmond supporters every time someone has the audacity to question the club is laughable to say the least...

Then again, the club itself does resemble Richmond atm

Would people prefer us to be like a bunch of angry, irrational, half crazy Tiger supporters or Melb supporters, who just accept the tripe that's served up and don't give a sh1t.

So which is it? Your indecisiveness is Ratts-like in its disingenuity.

I'd argue that like most people - you are still looking at things from an emotionally clouded viewpoint.

1. How would you have structured the forward/backline differently?
2. How would you have structured the mids setup/rotations differently? (murphy+carazzo injured, gibbs taken out of there due to lack of options down back - so effectively 3 of the top 5 mids out of the rotation (simpson + robinson available)

Of our 'other' mids
- lucas+russell are horribly out of form
- buckley is 3 games back from an 8 layoff (finger), okeefe coming back from 8-12 week foot injury
- dale was an emergency.

Who else do we have on our list that might come in and change up the midfield rotations?

FWIW Chookman I reckon your logic is sound, but footy followers do indeed operate on emotion. Most of us thought that, just maybe, this could
have been our year ... and now it's all turned to sh*t. It's a bitter pill to swallow and it is easy to feel the someone should be made to pay.

I'm just glad I don't have Foxtel.

Huh? What are you talking about. You think the team we fielded on the weekend was structured, then good for you.

I just want to see whoever is one the field having a fair dinkum crack.

Have not seen it since the Pies game!

Yes we are undermanned atm but that does not excuse a lack of desire for those who remain fit!

News today is that Ratten found this after it had slipped under the passenger seat of his car. He is reading it at present and there will be changes on the weekend to the way we play, and the same people who played this week will not play next week. That is assured.

Faith is restored.

You're expecting VFL players to execute AFL plans, good luck getting players from English League 1 to perform in the Premier League.

It looks that way because most of theirs are injured.

But anyway, that's not the point. Since our last premiership, WCE have been up, down and out, back up again FOR A PREMIERSHIP, down and out again losing arguably the best two midfielders of the decade, and now back up again and one of two legitimate premiership favourites.

Interesting, listening to the radio stations, I just laugh at the "experts". They are getting into the players, not the coach and that we have a worse list then Tigers etc. hey are so superficial and knee jerk. One thing I still cant understand is how well we played in the first few rounds and how bad we play now - effort wise.

Interesting in the Age today that Rohan Connolly has thrown it back on Ratten. Might start a change in public (media) perception.
