Looking more and more like getting to rd 23 and a 3 way tie for 8th with us, Saints and Essendon*. And we won't get in :(

Season is over.

Victories are a bonus, but it's all about 2013.

Agreed.
The loss to North killed the season.

Although if by some miracle we snuck into 8th, and West Coast finish 5th, they might be feeling pretty nervous having to play us ...

Forget miracles.
The season is done.
And WCE would not be nervous anyway.

yeah, they would probably be presented with 3 WA umpires and Carlton on a 5 day break

...we'll look back at some games (Port, Saints, NM, Geel...) like we looked back at the WG game in 2011 and say what if?

If we are to be that close...Lets get Henderson off the operating table and back on stand by.

Really hard to tell what the ladder will look like, hence a predictor.
I've mucked around a few times....you just can't do it with rose coloured glasses...no one can beat us.
Glad to see someone get us that close to making it.

But do you really think so?
If you are serious, then its up to Bumbers and Tigers not to throw away their chance.
I'm guessing you have Saints fifnishing further up the ladder than 8th?

What good is 8th to us anyway? I guess nice to say we are in the top half of teams...but its no flag....just ask Saints what runners up means.

Season not over yet.
Richmond, Essendon* & then StKilda games are crucial however. Can't afford to slip up.
Essendon* in a lot of trouble. We could save them from embarrasement though.

Have a bad feeling about tonight. If the Tigers cannot beat us tonight I don't know when they will.
The rest, however, who knows? Am tipping wins against Essendon* (get one back on them) and obviously Gold Coast. Lose to both Richmond and St. Kilda however, and it's all but gone.
Round 23 could be a mini-final game...

Season finished, the only chance is Essendon* missing the eight now, that's unlikely.

Just did the ladder predictor - if we win every game from now on then we definitely play finals.
Drop 1 game and it becomes a 50/50 chance.

yeah but have a look at north's draw

not exactly a tough run home

Bulldogs
Essendon* (tough)... but if Bumbers lose...they may be the precarious one on the ladder
Collingwood (tough)
Freo (tough)
GC

Bombers run home:

Adelaide
NM
Carlton
Richmond
Collingwood.

If we win every game, I expect us to play finals, just may depend on % we muster against the GC in comparison to NM.

It's close, possible, but maybe not probable.
