Hird's brilliance has no limits.

Flower i HATE Essendon*!!! :hitcomputer:

I asked him how they are a 74 point better team since we last met. (He said we were lucky because they were no where near their best team)

I then said, they were lucky against Port. (He then stated, it was Hird's game plan to see how much of a deficit that they could over come, and how quickly)

WOW. Essenscum supporters are cocky.

nothing changes with these people. It it true that some of them chose to queue up for GF tix while the 99 prelim was on

Looked like fletcher did his hammy against wc last week. Usually miss 3 games with them so i reckon he will be doubtful and if he does play he wont be as reliable as usual and he may even do it again and leave them short.

He is the one that bothers us. I hope he misses.

Essendon* not making up numbers

Quote:
Essendon* isn't going to the finals to just make up the numbers, it is there to do some damage.

That's what Bomber captain Jobe Watson promised today in the wake of his side's miraculous - if unconvincing - win against bottom side Port Adelaide yesterday.

Vomit...

This could be the longest pre-match thread in history.

All you need to know about that article can be gained from four words.

Miraculous.

Unconvincing.

Bottom side.

There were fold up chairs lined up outside Windy Hill during the game. When they were put there, i'm not sure. There were people there but whether they were just lining up for family members I'm not sure. Why would you skip a PF to line up for the grannie?? Then again they were that cocky, they probably thought the PF was a walkover and they wouldn't miss much
But after the game we drove past and the chairs were broken and thrown on the footpath.

It will be yet another brave loss if he does go down - but they can have as many brave losses against us as they want

There were Essendon* people lined up at the MCG for GF tickets. They chose to not even go and watch the prelim. One of my fondest memories of that game is the barrage of abuse these people got while packing up their sleeping bags and stuff after the game. Happy to say I think I made a great contribution to the barrage.

This was a highlight of the day - but also there were a few braver souls who drove up to Windy Hill and did a few laps of Napier St - with Blue Flags and Scarfs hanging out the window honking the horn - I think I managed 2 laps actually.

Gee...they'd still be revelling over 99 prelim wouldnt they?

I think their level of bravery will actually make me vomit.

A lot of them still can't get over '99, but it's worth noting that the following year they spanked us in a prelim by 45 points. Any pain from 99 would have been erased that day I'd say. Over 10 years ago.

The pain from 99 for them will NEVER be erased :thanks:
