Tight game, I’m expecting the margin to be 100 points less than in their loss to the Cats

if someone offered me a 5 goal win, i'd take it.

I'm expecting a 10 goal win but you never know what can happen.

I actually think Bailey has been a little hard done by - It will be interesting to see how the cats go against the Gold coast this week as the average number of games experience between the two sides is very similar

49.6 GC and 52.9 Melb

If it was a player revolt against Bailey it is a little suprising considering most are so in experienced

Melbourne will come out firing no doubt - Blues better be on their toes

I'll take a 2 goal win,
as long as we don't get any injuries.

MASSIVE trip to Perth coming up.......

Yes, could be . But I suspect only one trip to Perth matters this year and it will be the second week of the finals.

I hope they do dumb stuff early in the name of trying to be tough, and give away free kicks and 50 metre penalties.

Carlton by 62.

The Dees are still in a fight for a spot in the eight, right ? And the Dees ran the Pies to a draw and a one point loss last year..............so they have given the lemonade and sarse to the bloke who has them in contention for a finals spot and the bloke that nearly unravelled the Pies. How effen dumb is that.If ever a side needed ripping apart it is these crybaby's.Bailey is a scapegoat for the interferring Schwabb.Fact...............

Would be very disappointed if MC dropped McLean ... thought he did ok and reckon he will really start to improve if given time. Certainly no worse than Ellard or Curnow at the moment ... so come on MC ... give him a chance.

Not a Brock fan but thought he was OK against North - probably the best game I have seen him play for us.

I hate this sort of game. We win by 100 it's because they are in turmoil. We win by 10 they have made a heroic recovery. They scrape a win we'll never hear the end of it.

Bottom line we are on a hiding to nothing.

Hope we don't get ahead of ourselves and produce a good solid win. (ignoring all the hype)

This team will do us a favour in a couple of weeks time.
We must keep them close & content until the 15 minute mark of the last.

We should be thankful. Any chance there was that we might be complacent just went out the window.

St Kilda beat us by 10 in Ratten's first game. Two years later they made the grannie. And the next one. And the one after that. :banghead:

Surely having the top four to play for is all the motivation we need to beat these guys on skill and motivation.

Not suggesting we should win by 15 goals or anything, but we should play well and beat whatever is put in front of us by them.

In theory and on paper, Melbourne have Zero chance against us.

But we all know what can happen in footy!
