I think Jimmae's report is just about spot on, and I agree with him that Yarran's performance wasn't as bad as some have suggested.

Where were you sitting?

Up in the clouds with me, obviously. :P

Thanks to everyone for the reports.
I'm just glad to read that there weren't any injuries (assuming Kreuz is OK).

It is, but you weren't asking me; I was about three rows back from centre wing in front of the Pratt Stand.

Kreuze was standing outside the new development with other non-participating players. Wasn't iced or anything. Reckon he and JR collided in a marking contest early on. Might have copped a slight knock in that contest is my guess.

Is Kade Simpson ok ? Anyone know ? How come he did not play.

Someone on another site said that Greg Swan on SEN today mentioned some player was injured and they thought it was bad, but then the scans showed no structural damage, and they are saying it was probably Simmo.

That's the best news of all.
With several others to come back, we'll have a few players unlucky to miss out next week.

Robinson could't help himself in the end

and the bad boys, Eddie Betts, Ryan Houlihan and Andrew Walker, were solid contributors.

At leat there was a report in the HUN.

It look likes nobody told the Age about the game. Nothing in today's broadsheet :donk:

Slightly higher visibility? That's about all I can think of, unless they're cheaper colours at the manufacturer.

Riley is fantastic....in many ways.

Such an entertaining interviewer.
How could anyone dislike that guy?

We are blessed to have him.
He's definetely senior coach material looking from the outside, and I have been told of his great footy smarts and knowledge of our game.

Like he said, it's early days, we have a long way to go, but we know a bit more after the intraclub with players getting 12-60 minutes game time.

Doesn't Kreuzer sound amazing....as a midfield coach I was wondering if he meant when he said he wants them all available to play in the middle with Judd and Kreuzer as ruck rovers.... and therefore Warnock as the ruckman?

I am guessing Mars would have been happy with the combo.

If you've got money on Carrazzo for the rising star- after the fumbles, turnovers etc of yesterday I'd consider it wasted.
