Carlton have Judd and follows his lead.

Essendon* have Lloyd and emulate his stupidity.

It's flattering that the Bombers are worried about Carlton, but the scum aren't the THEY we were referring to.

Spotted that too...just adds to what I keep saying to Bomber supporters.."always a year or so behind...it took 5 years to catch up to our 16th..it will take even longer to catch up to the 17th"

...and last night I got bagged a footy club function by an Essendon* supporter to which I said "yeah...devastating...lose like that to Essendon* another twenty or so times and it will probably take the shine off the 99 preliminary final"

...helped that everyone around me absolutely pi**ssed themselves....Bomber supporter didn't say much after that

"Try the veal  "

Hey SB on April 11th 2008, we didn't play a game of footy - so they were wrong.

We aren't the idiots - whilst they would and could have had a field day with that ad, they botched it up BIG TIME and now look like the idiots.

Just been told that the marketing department have come up with a new 2009 mid year slogan to replace the current one on VISY trucks and Billboards around melbourne...............

'WE'RE ON THE ROAD TO NOWHERE'

Why don't you get on the road to nowhere and find another location for your routine.

You're a tedious bore.

I got a reaction from you so its still working.

Im clearly pointing out just how much of a unprofessional outfit this club is. We've cleary made a few blunders this year with PR and marketing

The club is full of hot air and proved this with a poor marketing campaign by trying to tell people 'WE'RE COMING' rather than proving 'WE ARE ON OUR WAY'

The underlying problem of the club is not in its marketing dept but in its footy dept...

The marketing dept did its job..

Thats what theyre meant to do....

The footy dept hasnt kept pace....

If the club's slogan was "We Are Here" you would be right, but We're Coming just shows we are on the way, which despite the losses this year we clearly are.

It's like starting off on one of those long road trips with your kids. You pull out of the driveway, turn the corner and your kid yells out "are we there yet?" ..... and you say to yourself ... "sh#t I' going to hear this for another 6 hours"

After the loooooooong road trip you get to your destination :gift:

Its been done...

Maybe we can use

"They know were coming "again....

And save some money....

Or "This time we're serious"

Just a big Yoda in a Carlton jumper saying "Coming we are. They know"

We might be able to use this one as well...

Hot off the presses:

Blues announce new sponsor

Sunday 10 May, 2009
AAP

CARLTON have pulled off a major coup by securing a three-year sponsorship deal with the Advanced Medical Institute (AMI), who will be the club's short sponsor for all home and away matches. AMI is a respected market leader in mens health services and Carlton officials are delighted with the appointment.

"Were delighted to have AMI on board the Carlton Football Club and we believe our partnership with them will help us take the next step in our on-field resurgence of the club", A spokesman for the club said, however he refused to confirm or deny allegations that the sponsorship deal was arranged on the back of the controversial "They Know Were Coming" marketing campaign for the 2009 AFL premiership season.

Dear Members and Supporters,

The Carlton Football Club would like to issue an official apology to all of you. We understand that we misrepresented ourselves and misinformed many people in our latest marketing campaign slogan "They know we're coming". We thought that you would believe the hype and that we could convince you that we were a good side. We sincerely apologise for this mistake. We genuinely thought that we would be good this year and contest the finals, but absolutely nothing has changed - we are still are still a bunch of absolutely soft, shithouse downhill skiiers. Admittedly we do have a couple of good players, but for every superstar there are 5 deadset ****ing flogs weighing them down. Once again we would like to apologise for any confusion and will not be making any other ridiculious claims in the near future.

Kind Regards,

The Carlton Football Club
