Got mine in the NT today which is quicker than in previous years. Having to send the voucher to redeem the cap is a pain though - why can't they post it out with the membership , particularly for interstate members

Still waiting on ours, but I agree on the voucher - when you have two little ones, those cards get moved quick smart - hence why I went without a cap last year..... I hated wearing "Membership 2007" in 2008! :)

Yes it would be a lot easier to just select what you want when you renew your membership.

I signed up again last november....

Ive gone the hat this year , the scarf was great last year...but having " they know we're coming " on the scarf ...is...well... a little bit presumptous for me...( if we dont make the finals , the whole footy world will be laughing at us )

But I havent had a hat since 2007...so nice change ...

Thoughts...?

If the missus and I both go for the scarf we can use them to tie each other up to the beadhead and...

Two little tackers renewed. Well, one renewed and one newed.

One piece of constructiveness about the website - would be cool if you could link memberships to your own, eg if i could link the 2 kids memberships to mine so I could manage them all together...

That'd be nice.

Carlton's membership has soared in recent days, almost topping 30,000, an increase of about 6000 on the corresponding time last year.

In 2008, the Blues recorded a record membership figure of 39,360, which was up almost 10per cent on the previous year.

Carlton chief executive Greg Swann said he was anticipating a new record figure, but was reluctant to put a ceiling on a number. "It looks like we'll get more than 40,000, which in this climate is a good number," Swann said.

Thanks for the link BI which was buried at the end of the Motlop article.

For those concerned as why Hammer missed last week - he had a virus and should replace Krooz on Sunday against the Dawks.

Would of saved me 5 phone calls to sign my son up. Although I still have doubts they have signed him up properly.

The other constructive criticism is when they say "we'll call you back" actually do it!!

Well Collingwood just release a 3 game $75 membership which gets added to the official tally apparently. Maybe we should do the same so we can hit 50k as well

I'd be interested in something like that, being 400km away, i don't get to Melbourne that often. And it should increase our membership numbers too!

Greg Swan said on radio before the roos game we were just under 30k which was 6k ahead of the corresponding time last year and that we were on track to go past 40k again in 2009.

Well I think the Membership department have screwed me. Received my sons babyblue pack within a week of organising it finally, but now my direct debit has increased by $10? Looks like they've signed him up twice, can't believe I have to call them for the fifth time to organise this simple process.

Still waiting for my pack. The poor courier would have been to my house 3 times when it finally arrives, nice waste of money.

If that's the case, then I'm sure once we win the NAB Cup, we should launch the same...even if it is into the season, I bet it would be well received by Carltonians around the country and abroad.

We're a passionate lot. $75 for 3 games one might miss and counted towards the official AFFL membership totals is great value.

Club site now showing that we have hit 30,002. Great effort this early in the pre-season. I heard earlier in the week that there was a heap still to process. I wonder if this pattern will continue right up until the cut off date, so we can smash the previous record? :smoking:

Resolved. Membership Portal is displaying the wrong membership. Got the reserved seats on level 2 so I'm happy.
