Browne could be a smokey for Round 1? All interupted reports had Browne as one of the best last week against West Coast.

Interesting. if they did that you would think he would be a chance of playing. Considering they would be dropping 6 I can't see why they would bother replacing Ando otherwise.

Browne has been extremely impressive on the track. Makes good decisions, works hard and does all the things that the coaches appreciate eg. running on after disposing, second and third efforts etc.

Dont be surprised to see him force his way into the 22 sooner rather than later.

spewing that I cant get to the game.

Given that we are likely to have a fair few TC's at the match, hopefully there will be some pretty good post match coverage (or even live? 8) )

As if they'd believe you.

Now, if it was Richmond playing on the other hand...

I'm surprised that he hasn't been mentioned / reported on more in the pre-season

If I remember correctly, Caz's report from the draft indicated we thought he was top 15-20 material and we were stoked to pick him up when we did

Also seeing the snippets from the U18 champs he looked a very tidy, poised and ready to go type with good foot skills and plenty of courage

I'm tipping him to be a big surprise and play at least 50% of games in the 1's this year and IMO will be a gun draft selection and a 100+ gamer for the blues

Go the BrowneDog

I absolutely can't wait for for tomorrow!! I've organised my shift at work so i can finish at 4 and then make my way to Princess Park via tram after that :)

Optus oval footy, few beers, seein the Juddernaut in action.. it was just too tempting to pass up the opportunity!

Will be really interesting to see how Judd and the boys play together tomorrow, I wouldnt be surprised if Judd, playin 3 or so quarters is in our best few and picks up 20 touches.. And Fev to kick 4 is my prediction, hopefully more :)

Cant wait to get back to the Princess Park, love goin there for the praccy matches at the start of seasons..

Think the last time i went there we got flogged by bout 100pts against Port!

But i think we can expect to do better than that tomorrow!!

me and my bro (SparkyBlue) will be there with bells on! :-D

I've got two kids aged 2 and 4 and I never thought I would get the opportunity to get them to experience a big crowd at PP.

It is exciting purely for that reason alone, I hope they really enjoy the atmosphere. Taking them to training is great, but games are where you feel the tribalism and passion of the Carlton brethren and no better place than PP. The sort of stuff that sinks into your bones and makes you a Blue for life.

I just arranged to make it earlier tonight. I am seriously pumped up for it. More than I have been about a game for awhile. I think its the whole Judd thing and being a little more optomistic about the coming year.
But mainly I think its the chance to watch a half decent match with a good crowd back at home where I never thought I would get that chance again.

Call me pessimistic, but I'm very nervous. I rarely get to go to games these days, and many of my recent memories have involved getting worked up and excited about seeing the blues, only to see them get pummelled and me leave in disgust. I know it probably won't happen, but I'm praying this doesn't occur tomorrow.

I know how you feel. I travel half way around the world, planning my trips to see a game and then we almost invariably lose. But I normally feel disappointment. I last saw them go around at PP on the last ever game there. I took my Mexican wife, who enjoyed the day but shared my disappointment at the result.
I am going to the Richmond game round 1 and the StK game round 2 so hopefully will see them get up at least once. If not, I will be very disappointed but not disgusted. We have a way to go so try and stay positive.
Look out for the Blue Sombrero!

Pretty pumped for this one guys and gals! By all reports SEN is covering the game so I'll tune in online.

Does anyone know if it is a traditional 2pm start?

Shocking whether this morning, it would want to clear up soon or i wouldn't risk playing Juddy. I have a feeling the sky's will open though, after all it is JUDD 8)
