Maybe I might go to the game. I hate the Telstra Dome, but love my Blues. Good squad. Love your work Jars. Dawson for Fev

Blues unveil former Lion

Quote:
"He is going really well and we have been really pleased with the way he is going," Ratten said of Hadley.

"He is a fantastic fellow on and off the field and he not only brings that experience but he is pretty hard at it."

Ratten said the Blues had been desperate to secure the talented midfielder from Brisbane.

"We tried for three days (in the trade period) to get him and as often happens in trade period it came down to the last three minutes," he said.

That's sensational Jars - feel like I'm sitting on the bench with my magnetic board during a game!

Dawson will go the Kreuzer and Campbell will get Fev.

Campbell will play ruck. Dawson to Fev, otherwise Tom Murphy.

I meant Campbell Brown.

thanks for the early news sticks

I'm pretty sure Wiggins was named in the team to play last week but didn't play for some reason?? When we looked at the stats the next day Wiggo was there with 0's everywhere. But he definitely didn't take the field at all. And he's trained all week apparently so I'm not sure what's going on there!!

And isn't it in: Austin, Bannister & Hadley? Hartlett played last week.

bluegirl, Harts didn't play last week.

I'm going crazy - thanks DUC

surprised Hammer made the squad considering he was missing all week on the track - and that he was having scans on his ..... :?

No Jacobs or Aisake either - may mean Hammer is OK.

Would you like the PC or the non-PC answer?

Wiggins injured himself during the training session in Adelaide on the Friday before the match. Because of the size of the squad they didn't take an extra emergency, so Wiggo ran out and sat on the bench for the whole match.

Cheers Sticks,

in a way that is win / win. Fish is a vital player and will be sorely missed, but it gives Hadley a chance to get more experience with his new teammates. And it is important that we continue to develop young Austin. So I'm pretty happy with all that.

If Hadley can step up, we'll get a good idea about how competitive we'll be this year. To add 3 ready made mids in Judd, Pfeiffer and Hadley will plug a lot of holes.

Nice.

Really looking forward to seeing Hadley in Blue, and it will be good to have another look at Austin.
