wow is this a reality check or what.

challenge for denis however, is how many years in a row can you over haul your list?

talent is one thng, but surely getting out and contesting the pill is something. where has that gone?

no point in singling out players, but we seriously lack some young talent.

Worst half of footy I've seen for a while.

Positive: we've bottomed out, cannot get any worse in the second half.

Well done Deano. We cannot play any worse than this, Richmond can't play any better. Its simple, but its true.

Lets see a better 2nd half Blues, we're not going to win, but let's play some positive footy and someone, anyone, in the midfield lift a little.

If we can regroup, throw some changes in (get DeLuca the hell out of the backline for starters) and reinforce to some of our senior players to have some faith in the youngsters (ie don't be scared to kick it to Setanta for christs sake) then hopefully we can scrape something out of this mess.

COME ON YOU BLUES!!

The other thing with that is that they are young. They're going to have good weeks and bad weeks. Having said that all teams have young players, some more consistent than ours. Given where we've come from we're doing well. We don't need to overhaul the list again, just tinker.

I don't know why our midfield showed up today, they look like they're not even interested. FFS can we find someone who can kick a pass 15 mtrs and hit a target  You can blame the forward line all you like, but Richmond would have been lucky to score if their midfiled delivered and chased like ours is.

DeLuca may have done better playing on Stafford and Teaque on Simmonds. That was the one I couldn't understand.

Yep. All is not lost. This side have time and time again proven to me that they never give up, and I'll be f*cked if I can see a reason why today will be any different.

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!

If we can come out and kick 10 unanswered goals we are a real chance.

Come on Blues... Greatest come back in history (?)

What a complete load of tripe.

Yeah - you're right Jarusa - have fun at Buller with your buddy mate...

You are a dirty gutless sniper.

Nope - just think the guy displays the leadership skills of a lemming.

I've said since he was appointed that I didn't think he should be VC and last week was another example of why I believe that.

I wrote about it then.

When we were winning.

I'm not suggesting the rest of the side don't need a kick in the head at the moment as well just making a point that it looks like there might be some attitude issues at the club at the moment and when one of your leaders can get away with doing that sort of thing and line up the next week it's symptomatic of where things are at. We've had a lot of players reported for stupid niggly shit which just might also be a clue as to where we're at.

No need to blow a fuse. :?

trueblue brad

this youngest list thing is over rated.....there are only months in it across most clubs

we lack any true future match winners.....

we have done a great job over the last couple of years with the list we have. no doubt we have a lot of work to do

pray to god they do not take away the priority pick

the only question i have with the young talent we have is they do not seem to be coming on or ready for a game. but net, net we do not have enough of them.

I'm sure we'll win a quarter Jar but it would nice to see us string 4 together, we haven't done it since the wizard cup.
I though the first qtr last week was as bad as it gets, how wrong I was

apologies for the abuse GWS.

I can understand a lot of the complaints about campo and agree with some of them. But when he is the only one standing tall (along with stevens) when we are being belted it is just a bit much. Especially with the constant bagging of campo (some deserved some not) it just gets a bit much sometimes.

I like what I've seen from Campo today. Got back to help T-Bird deep and spoiled Richo, put his head over the ball, tackling, showing some example to others today.

You are right, I'm just trying to be positive :)

I did say that other clubs have young players who are more consistent than ours. Ours have shown signs, they're just not consistent. They're also coming from a more diverse background and from later picks in the draft, so the learning curve is still in place more so than at other clubs.

I might just be hopeful and full of shit, but thats my way. Rome wasn't built overnight and either will the resserection of the Carlton Football Club

Accepted.

If you read back over what I wrote I wasn't criticizing Campo for today's game at all. I was just saying I've seen a few worrying signs to do with attitude this year.

Are you guys for real? You all actually are accepting of what Carlton have offered today? This is complete humiliation of our club and our jumper. Lucky i am not there or i would almost run on to slap a few of these imposters.

There better be some major fallout from this!!! :x

I'm not acceping of it or happy with it, but I've always been a 'glass is half full' kind a guy, especially with regards to the Blues.

If Richmond can do this in a half, then so can we. There's a half of Footy left, all is not lost.

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!
