How the hell is this Synbads fault?
The club announced the deal, Synbad is merely informing you why it fell over?
Whats that got to do with being "in the know" or not.. smacks of airing your perosnal vendetta against a poster for the mere sake of it

The pub deal was announced in the media so clearly the club thought it was a near certainty. Why would Synbad feel any different?

If you want to blame someone for the deal falling through go blame the board, I'm sure they'd be ecstatic about the gratitude your showing for all the unpaid work they're putting in.

Synbad and others we are very greatful for your info, and do appreciate that things change. Does not mean they were not correct in the first place.

They were correct in that the Club, and certain Directors putting the deal together, thought it was going to happen and were working hard towards it.

Deals die all the time. Maybe some equity fell through, maybe an investor didn't want to sell on that basis. maybe someone resented Carlton getting a free kick on this.

None of this means it wasn't put together well or those with a source made a mistake at all - for christ's sake it was announced publicly. This has nothing to do with posters reporting it on a site.

Pity it fell through but there's more in the pipeline.

are we all ready to admit that we aren't getting Judd also?
