Lappin, Lovett, Newman, Morris - they hardly set the world on fire in 2005, did they?

Congrats to Waitey though - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE DON'T GET INJURED!!!

Sheedy and selectors have defnitely picked a side on specific criteria, not much height or size in the Aussie team at all. Focus is very much on pace and skill.

Heres a theory from the "grassy knoll" down by the Book Depository.

The selection of Mathew Lappin was not warranted by 2005 form.He is however in dispute with the CFC.

What better way for a known Carlton hater such as Sheedy to get a sly one in on the Blues and potentially embarrass us than to select him(Lappin) for the National squad?

Additionally who gains most by Lappin remaining with the Blues?

The Bombers well know that if Lappin remains, that Campo is a monty to go.That would allow the Bombers to pick him up for nought in the pre-season draft!

Just a thought?

If Sheedy wants to play those mind games let him. If Sheedy wants him give him a 3 year year deal give him 1. CFC shouldnt worry about people like that. Its either Campo or Lappin pick 1 or both couldnt care!.

I thought the question was "Who the hell is Dale Morris?"

I honestly had never heard of him until I read this thread.

Not a bad line up there.
Certainly a lot better than last years.

pace and skill?

Surely David Clarke deserved a guernsey. He oozes with both.

Does it matter if they are no longer on an AFL list?

Morris would've made it because he's super quick. Dunno about the skills but who knows? Haven't seen him kick a footy too much.

Waitey will rip this match!

don't think Waite will suit this game.

And yes Eddie Betts should be in it!
