I saw the first installment of this show on the 1971 Haw/StK GF, and thought it was very nicely done. Look forward to catching this one in the leadup to our big game.

Hope our interstate friends got to see the '81 episode.
Got around to watching it last nite.
Fantastic stuff. Funny and inspiring too.
Alex Marcou...what a character...seems such a warm and funny bloke.
Memories of the one and only..the greatest Brucie Doull.
We have been blessed along the way with some superb back men haven't we!
Great seeing Sellars as a young 'un too.
what a team of outlaw champions they were.
Just revs me up even more about our current team.
Not lacking a few characters, and great chemistry among this next premiership brood either. Essendon* saying we have no soul???? are you kidding me??
When the boys are happy..after a great win, or goal...is there a more uplifiting sight?
Can't wait for Saturday...and the next few years.

Yeh was great to watch, I will never forget deep into 3rd quarter when we were 21 down in the rain, we looked gone and I kid u not some pies fans had opened up their champagne in front of us. They really thought they were home. Then ashman and Buckley kicked goals and they were very very worried indeed hahaha

Loved it. Here's to the glory days, may we see some more soon. But it'll never be like it was back then

Excellent show although I would have loved some interviews with more of the players e.g. Johnno, Harmsey etc

I think this team is often overrated in terms of its achievement of 3 flags in 4 years. It should be right up there with the Hawks of the late 80's. Crossing decades probably doesn't help their cause. And if only they'd sorted themselves out in 1980 they could have possibly made it four in a row.

Wow. So you would have liked the players to interrupt their game day preparations to watch this program?

That is so inconsiderate, it reminds me of the time you went toe to toe with Stephen Kenna outside a nightclub a few years ago.
