Ch 10 news just stated that Levi was involved in a head on crash with another driver. The other driver died but Levi wasn't injured.

No details as to how the accident occurred.

Do you assign a 24/7 reporter to Levi Casboult or Andrew Lovett?

Holy crap! Lucky boy.

Don't you just love how they repeat the highly relevant fact that he had a few drinks a few days ago.....

Terrible news. Not in any way sympathetic towards the drunken antics, however this stuff is very serious. The poor bloke will probably have this fatal crash on his mind for the rest of his life.

Good point.

Best wishes Levi.

And of course commiserations to the other party involved.

Pathetic journalism to write more about the "booze cruise" antics than the fact that Levi was involved in a fatal accident which wasn't remotely his fault, and was very fortunate to be uninjured physically.

Traumatic time for the kid, and hope he gets through it with the support of family, friends and teammates.

Traumatic time for the family of the guy that died, more like it... feral reporting.

Definitely, condolences go out to his friends and family. Terrible thing to happen on Christmas.

Now of course it's natural to think of this as a Carlton issue, but it's a whole lot bigger than that. Just ask anyone who's been there themselves (my GF still tears up anytime she hears a story about a road death). That more is made of it because the guy is a footy player than your regular Joe is a tragedy in itself, but also for our 'respected' news outlets to scrape the bottom of the toilet bowl and link it not only with the club but also a completely seperate incident, and exploit the poor kid to sell more papers, is just beyond belief.

What a rotten week this kid has had, glad he is okay.
Sorry to hear about the death of another young person, especially on Christmas Eve.
The HUN are a joke, turning it into a Carlton story, and including the Booze Cruise incident too. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Hope the club does the right thing and gets this boy some couselling.
