@Carlton_FC: During his media conference Ratts also revealed that Mitch Robinson will unfortunately miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.

Stress foot fracture - not uncommon in 1st year players.

Chance for Yarran/Garlett to step into the breach.

Bad luck for him, never got that Rising Star nomination that he deserved.

Nope 1 too many ................. He has to start the year with 9 or less games (and be 21 or under at the start of the season)

Pretty sure it's 10 games or less and under 21 so he should be eligible.

Yes, he is eligible next year. No more than 10 games is the criteria and under 21 at the start of the year.

poor luck to the guy. . Ive loved watching the change he's made between captaining tassie last year to debuting against the tigers and throwing cousins into the 4th row, to having the composure (and balls) to ignore fev on his own 10m out directly in front to kick his first goal in AFL to the numerous times he's played on, taken on the man on the mark, broken a line and kicked long inside 50.

Extremely impressive first year Little Lance. . .looking forward to seeing the fruits of another pre-season!

he's the kind of guy that will really benefit from a full pre-season. He works so hard on the field, always attacking the contest, so the extra fitness base will really help his game. Good draft choice.

That's devastating news! Robbo has been a sensation and coming into some good form leading into the finals!

I was looking forward to seeing him run amock in the 1st week of the finals against the Saints

Bad luck to Robbo however he will be back bigger and better next year.
Hopefully this opens the door for Yazz to come back in the side.
