Throughout a players career, he is probably going to go around in the ressies at some stage.
Whether it's at the start of his career, or later on either due to a form lapse or coming back
from injury.
How many past players can you think of in your time as a bluebagger , that didn't play in the 2's.

Using a qualifiying period of a minimum of 100 games played.
I can only think of 4.

Nick.

Jezza.

Southby.

Hunter. PS make that 6. Sticks and Braddles

Probably more, but not too many. Who are they ?

Kenny Hunter definitely played in the Reserves, I clearly remember him playing one out at full forward in a VFL final.

I am also sure I saw Southby at the end of his career in the Reserves.

I know he has not played 100 games yet but not sure I recall Keuzer playing any Bullants games?

Good call on Kreuzer. Injured at the start of last year, straight in and hasn't missed a game since.

Hunter ? That one got past me. Pretty sure Southby didn't. Maybe The Blueseum can adjudicate.

Haven't played 100 games yet either - but neither Murphy or Gibbs have played in the 2nds. Murphy played Rd 1 up until he got injured and then came straight back into the seniors Rd 1 next year if I remember correctly.

Juddy played one WAFL game for 30+ touches and couple of snags, the rest is history

I'm pretty certain Southby played a few reserves games in 1974. He took a long time getting over the whack he received from that thug Balme after the 73 GF. Did his confidence in terribly. If I recall he actually played a couple of games as a forward.

Don't think Kreuzer, Gibbs or Murphy have (don't quote me on Gibbs though)

Camporeale definitely never did

Who am I, I kicked 738 goals and not one was in the early game.

I also had a friend from Adelaide who played 375 games and never played in the early game despite playing cricket early in his career and missing several pre-season games.

There was also this other guy who played 60 odd games in my jumper and never played early, as he was probably sleeping.
