I was sitting next to a friend on a bus on the way from home uni and we were talking about the Carlton vs.Collingwood match. We spoke for a couple of minutes and I then looked out the window to see a car pass by with Carlton stickers on the back windscreen.

I think I drove past a bus as I ran over a Magpie, so it could have been my car.

You should've shot it with a handgun out of the window of a moving car.

BF, good on ya, keep those good feelings and omens coming. We've got nothing to lose.

I'm not being patronizing when I say this. As much as I like hearing these things and they give me optimisim, to be honest, I get these 'omens' all the times; these 'gut feelings' and they seem to make no difference.

Come on the Blues.

Funny only today I was looking out of my car and I passed a car with Collingwood stickers on the back windscreen - it was sitting on A-1 Car Removals tow truck - and this guy with no teeth a moth eaten Collingwood Jumper and mocassins was looking very pleased with the $50 he had in his hand.

It's because they are self created. When we live in denial that tends to happen. You've got to go with that initial gut feel..in this weeks case you would have felt deep down that the odds are stacked against us. But of course you will quickly dismiss this feeling as false and so desperation kicks in and you begin to create feelings that correspond to your underlying reliance on hope..which isn't such a bad thing unless of course that hope is a false hope.

I hope I've cleared all that up for you... :?
