I have been hearing on SEN that it will probably pretty close to a full house, something im not really familiar with since i have only really been going to games for the past 5 years. Anyway i'm a silver member and i usually just rock up an hour before the game and find a seat. I'll probably get there about 45 minutes before the bounce tomorrow night so will i be able to just rock up and find a seat on L3?

Cheers

Unlikely! I purchased reserve seats today on level 1 and there were 2 bays left. Level 2 is unavailable (sold/booked out I presume) and the only other option is to rock up for level 3 on a first in, best dressed basis.

As an AFL member, TD is a bit of a pain as the AFL reserve is so small (3000 seats) so this game was apparently snapped up weeks ago by AFL members. So b_b, you’ll have to rock up and try your luck on level 3. The guy at the counter said ticket sales had been very strong. Should be a big crowd! GO BLUES!!! :P

Most of level 3 is general admission right? I'm worried because hawthorn members get into this game for nothing aswell don't they? :?

Level 3 is general admission and AFAIK you cannot reserve a seat on level 3 (that’s what I was told today). So you rock up and hope for a seat. You should be right though. I don’t expect it to be that busy where there’ll be a lockout or similar

It will be full, there will be no less than 35,000 Carlton fans there. It's always a bumper crowd on a Friday night. I pre-purchased an extra 5 tickets for some mates today to avoid ticket lines.

The demand for this game has been huge. With the exception of Medallion seats the ground should be full. In addition the President's dinner is completely sold out for the second time this year.

Just wondering if that would still be the case if Hawthorn members weren't getting in for free?

I think the demand would have been significant anyway given the form of the team and it being our only home Friday night game. We have over 33,000 members and Friday nights are big nights for corporates. The Hawthorn deal, as a pay back to their members for playing games in Tassie, will probably guarantee a sellout.

I am an AFL member and will seemingly have to rock up around 3.30/4ish to try and see what is available

Hate the top deck with a passion

I'm with you T7, if you log on to ticketmaster late this arvo you may score some AFL members tickets - usually works for me. If not I will probably stand rather then sit on the top deck in the dark.

As an Gold CFC member, am looking forward to my seat on the 50 metre line on Level 1.

On away games, I cann't stand Level 3 and there is particular spot that I got when we played the Cats that you could not see half the ground becuase of a great slab of concrete blocking the view!

So much for "best fit"....sellouts were supposed to mean a shift to the 'G

you guys are mad

level 3, two rows from the front, on the wing, are the best seats in the house (other than level 2)

dont know why people complain so much about level 3, get their early enough and the view is terrific

I'm an AFL member and taking a couple of friends. Tried booking early in the week and AFL members area was sold out already so I had to reserve seats on Level 1. Cost me an extra $20 and its $40 for my friends.

Best fit policy my arse

No atmosphere up there - I think it's because you sit in the dark - feel very removed from the action - more like you are watching a movie in a cinema.

Having said that - save me two seats, thanks! :P
