I'm going to name someone completely different just to be different.

Joe Anderson will be Carlton's most improved player in 2010.

The obvious is Chris Yarran to really improve the most out of our younger players.

But guys that must improve for us to have any chance at playing finals next sesaon would include

Armfeld
Browne
Grigg
Walker
Hampson
Austin
Henderson (going off what he did last season at Brisbane

Walker has no other option but to improve in my opinion. A number two draft pick, has not done a great deal during his time at the club. Admittedly injuries and a clean bill of health have not been on his side all that often, but the reality is unless he can finally have a considerable input into the team then he could be shown the door at the end of the season. Entering his 7th season, we cannot afford to be compassionately keeping blokes on our list when we could be using their spot for someone else. And that goes for every player on the list.

walker is a gun when fit. I'm sure he feels the pressure to perform at a high level for an extended period given his time out of the game. I expect him to play every game and finish top ten in the b and f, which is probably his expectation too

Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, Kreuzer, Waite, McLean, Thornton, Simpson, Walker, Bower are probably our top ten players with hammer, betts, carazzo and Russell in the next group

Sneaking suspicion it might be TC's own Paul Bower

Coaches really rated mid part of his last season before injury and it sounds like he is a bit stronger and more confident at training, really taking them on.

In the Saints game did a great job on Reiwoldt, when I thought he would be taken to the cleaners and with a bit more strength I think he could blitz this year.

Other hopes are Stetanta and Walker (about due!!)

I just watched the 09 final against the Lions again, and Bower was truly on one leg.

He had Bradshaw all night and did really well against him till his leg gave way. He simply wasn't able to compete at the level he can.

He looked great at trianing, and gets the reults regardless of how dangerously he treads.
He's quite freakish.

If 2009 wasn't considered his break out year, then 2010 will be.

He was looking fantastic even when Waite and Jamison were in defense with him. Those 2 guys definetely free him up to do the things they can't. That is break the lines (not just a line) with pace.
He gives us fantastic drive from defense.

Will be interesting to see how PB goes strength wise with his opponents this year. No reason now why he shouldn't be on level terms with anyone in the strength department.
