we have every line covered

Always enjoy your posts, Bondiblue. Love your optimism. And I agree the future outlook is strong. But I'm not sure I can agree with this statement. We almost certainly needed to move Fev on. But as a result, we've gone from one gun key position forward to no clear key position forward. I think most other needs on our list are covered, but surely this is a clear deficiency for the moment.

A Champion team will always beat on team of champions.

7 years ago we were a bunch of shrimps. Our ruckman was 193cm. In 2010 we have height covered imo. In fact I think we've excelled in our recruiting for rucks and talls.

I don't think we need a champion KP, we have tall athletic triers and as long as they do their bit we're fine. Eg Henederson may not become a Jonathon Brown, but he will be a winning CHFfor us no doubt. He doesn't have to be a Brown to be useful.

The only weakness I think we might have is when we have to defend 200cm forwards. For height, at least we have Setanta on our list to cover that if we needed to.

A lot will depend on the output of our midfield both defensively and offensively. The exciting this is despite our midfield lacking in maturity they don't lack class. The midfield group is strong and plenty. I expect a break out year from the midfield with Warnock, Hammer & Kreuzer dominating by rotating between Ruck, FP & Interchange; staying fresh and competitive.

Carlton games in Rounds 6, 9, 11 and 20 will not be shown in WA due to clashes with Eagles/Dockers foxtel games

The more I look at the first part of the draw, the more it looks like it's going to be a tough run to the finals.

Tigers, lions, bummers, crows, cats....
Normally I would pick us to be about even, but without Judd I think we are likely looking at a 1 and 4 start.... Really hope the boys can be up and firing from day 1 so we don't slip into a hole

The WA pubs get the same feed as WA Foxtel subscribers, I'm sure. So they'd also be high and dry.

Not all pubs.... If they get a feed from Central 7 in the NT then the games are shown on that. Just not allowed to advertise the fact that they are doing it (particularly Friday nights) as the local commercial channels get shitty with them.
