Dont know if anyone was listening to SEN yesterday afternoon. They were discussing the game and Dermie and i think it was Ox were talking about Kruezer, Dermie then said how disappointed he was with Kruezers game. I may have been watching another game but i thought he was one of our better players with 19 disposals and 18 hitouts. Were they out of line? I sent a nasty text.

I think Kreuzer is destined for a fair bit of time up forward next year. I think both he and Carlton will be better for it.

He could and should spend sometime running through the midfield as he has quite a good tank and is agile, and it would be such a waste not to use it. Makes him hard to match up on too if the defender has to run around with him around the ground. Revolt runs his opponents into the ground, and I can see Kreuzer doing the same.

Warnock and Hammer in the ruck. Kreuzer in causing havoc in the forward half, and waite running amok wherever he damn well pleases sounds good to me. :smoking:

It is vital we get a twin marking target up there in the forward line. We can't have just Fevola as the main target.

Hawthorn have Roughead and Franklin
Carlton have Fevola and Kreuzer
Carlton in 95 had Kernahan and Pearce
Carlton in 87 had Kernahan and Johnston (smaller forward/midfielder but he kicked goals).

Eddie showed great improvement this year. (37 goals)and there is scope for more goals. For example, Ashman kicked 46 goals in 1982.

There is no reason why Eddie can't as a small forward target a figure of 45-46 goals for next season. His role may change to more midfield, but it may be an option.

Either way, I would love to see Kreuzer blitzing it on the forward line in 2010 and beyond.

Dermie's opinion along with many others doesn't hold much weight from mpov.

can't question kreuzer's endeavour and that goal out of the centre was one of the most exciting things i've seen but i think he was comprehensively outmuscled at the throw-ins and ball ups. ntohing he can't improve on this summer.

..i think Krooz is more of a centre square ruckman, vs a 'around the ground stoppages' ruckman if that makes sense.. ..he's better running and leaping for taps/pack marks.. ..and not so dominant body on body.. ..he's said he models himself after Cox, and Cox isn't the most physical of Rucks either....
