I don't like it. There has to be some things that aren't sponsored. Things that we can uphold as important enough that we forgo an opportunity to turn a quick buck. In 50 years, you look at these lockers and it will be cringeworthy that Joe Citizen sponsored the n0 4 locker.
Should we cut back on Footy dept costs to keep the lockers 'clean'?
Give me a break.
Now all of a sudden this money is vital to the football club running.
We'll lose Judd unless we sponsor the lockers

The money the footy dept could spend for small gains to the playing group is almost endless.
Carlton's budget would be tiny compared to big Euro and US sporting teams.
Collingwood recently spent 100k on 30 machines to aid recovery. These machines are common in the EPL and American sports.
AFIK we don't have them yet (West Coast were also looking into them)
We know specifically fitted chartered jets flying at low altitude aid recovery and have also been used by the Pies and West Coast.
Altitude training camps, analysis software, international recruiting all cost money.
There will always be new sports technology available to help give teams advantages and they are all going to cost money.
While AFL clubs have been "precious" regarding clash strips EPL clubs has embraced as a way of generating extra income through merchandise sales.
Now most posters want to be "precious" regarding lockers.
This club was basically broke just a very few years ago and now you are criticizing the marketing dept for innovative ways of generating $. How short memories can be in prosperous times.
Do you all think that Swanny can sit on his ass without a care in the world re $ now that Pratt (with the help of members and sponsors) has helped the club recover ?
Maybe you think that Pratt's money will put us at the top for eternity.
The powerhouse clubs will always be those with the biggest budgets.
Do we want the CFC to be a powerhouse club and support it in generating as much money as it can, or would you prefer to keep small traditions and deny the club the opportunity to be the best "football business" it can be ?
If we don't keep moving forward we will move backwards again.
