Seems the meeting of the Juddster and the Ruddster has paid some handsome dividends

Quote:
The Carlton Football Club has received $4.5 million from the federal government towards the redevelopment of its home ground.

Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard announced the funding injection for Visy Park in Carlton on Saturday and said it was in honour of passionate Carlton fan and founder of the Australian Democrats the late Don Chipp.

PS: Played soccer in Brunswick today, had a shocker, anyway the new buildings look like they only need a fitting and all is good to go.

Don Chipp was my local MP when I was growing up. He was a good man. One of the few politicians who would appear in his constituency regularly and not just at election time. Thanks again Don for helping us keep the bstards honest!

Is Menzies with Elvis at 7-11 or in a Chinese sub with Holt?

Is this extra funding for modifications to the original plans or filling a funding shortfall?
