Synners, why do you say fiddling? Kreuzer is our number 1, lets see how Warnock goes if Hammer doesn't come up. Cloke proved again he isn't a ruckman, we need to know where our backup plan is at.

Watching the guy on telly playing for the Bullants... he looked miles and miles off AFL league footy standard..
He has hardly played in 2 years.... he has blown out to 103 kilos... cos he hasnt run ...

usually players bulk up in the ps.. and once they start to run they shed abit... he has no match conditioning...were kidding ourselves if we believe he will just come in and make a difference at this stage of the season... the games are going to hot up and the players that arent up to the pace will be left for dead,,.

Cloke isnt the long term answer... but he does compete.. and he can position himself at the right spots...
We just have to go down the Hampson /Cloke road this year... i believe...

... with Warnock allowed to get himself right for next year...

Our improvement wont come from Warnock playing this year....how well we go in the finals will be determined by what we get out of our senior group... guys like Scotland.. Fev... Houlla.. Thornton.. Stevens... etc...

Thats where our finals season will be determined from this year... not Warnock...
I believe he will most likely throw things out of wack if he plays... he just hasnt covered the miles and his body is not hardened to play finals footy.. which will add more pressure on the team and especially K...

Thats my feeling...

Well said.

Put a proper preseason into him before getting him onto the field. No need to rush it.

Yep, agree 100%.

Hard to argue with that Synners. He's not ready and we have a good balance at the moment - why throw that out the window just before the finals?

If we were getting flogged in the ruck it would be worth a shot, but our rucks are competing well at the moment - even without winning a majority of the hitouts.

The best thing about having Kreuz and Hammer (when fit) out there is that we don't loose any speed or versatility. They are both good with the ball at ground level, chasing and tackling which is something 206 won't be able to offer this year.

2010 is your year Mr. Warnock.

Sounds like he will be used come finals time. If that is the case I would rather he played against Melbourne or Adelaide as opposed coming straight into a finals match.

By Crikey Jingo, I actually agree with something you have written unreservedly

The knives will be out if he comes in and doesn't perform, especially considering the high expectations some seem to have of a guy who is still really a developing ruckman...So I would prefer to give him the optimum chance to show what he can do, fit and firing next season.

..shouldn't play this year, i don't reckon he's ready.. ..but, especially come finals time.. ..if Hammer or Sauce aren't ready, we may have to go with Knockers.. ..Cloke isn't really an option..
