..obviously this comparison's more due to them being from the same draft yes?, so no point bringing Murphos into the comparison.. ..his draft comparison would probably involve Pendles (possibly Higgins.. ..who's daisy??).. .... ..so, with that in mind, currently.... ..Selwood.. ..but the gap's closing fast, last year he was way in front, this year the Gibblet's hot on his heels.. ..bodywise the Gibblet's still filling out, but he's got a good defensive side to his game like Selwood, and tackles v.well technique wise.. ..i reckon his tackle stats would mirror Joel's if he spent as much time in the guts.. ..what's really improved for the Gibblet this year is his ability to push forward and provide a marking target.. ..he's got good height, and is starting to use it more..

..am v.happy with the Gibblet, and have not once felt we made a mistake.. ..i reckon he's the 'standard best' out of his draft easily, it's just Joel's one right out of the box, that no-one could have guessed with all the med reports about his knee's.. ..and still too early to tell whether those reports will bring him undone down the track [we hope not for footy sake (and his)].. ..personally, i reckon the teams b/w us and cats would be wringin' their hands.. ..we're good..
