What we saw on Friday night was a combination of things, not our night (everything which could go wrong did), Fev out of sorts, lack of any real alternative plans and lack of decent personnel. HArtlett is not an AFL footballer, we know Fisher's limitations and there was no Waitey to throw up there and give them something to think about.

We do need to get better and I am sure the coAching staff are working on improving this. We are still going in the right direction.

..geelong have such great discipline cos they have confidence in their team-mates winning the ball, and so don't feel compelled to all rush to the contest to help out.. ..when yer list still has a few holes, the structure falls apart cos players downfield [or upfield for that matter] aren't good enough..

Plan A lacks a dangerous and versatile hit up target.

Edwards
Hartlett (So many excuses, so many conspiracy theories, so long on the list without making an impact - gone)

DRAFT:
The best forward option available with first pick (but not a short crumber)

That's a start.

Next step is to fire Lappin, and get someone in who is not owed any favours by the club.
We are not the communist party or Centrelink FFS, let's get someone who can actually give us great results with the forwards we have.
The turnovers at the attacking 50 on Friday were just astoundingly flowered up and unacceptable - can't blame Murphy and Gibbs for all of it.
