Ratten should be eyeing off winning at least 7 of those games... and 7 is very winnable

Less than 6 would be a disappointment. 6 would be good and would get us a finals berth.

7 should see us push for top 4

They're all winnable, but obviously we are not consistent enough to win all of them.

6 wins will be par, however the next match against the Dons will be crucial - we can't afford to keep dropping behind the pace with inconsistency as we did in the first half of the season.

If we lose to the Dons, Fev has a shocker, we might lose confidence and find ourselves at 6 and 8 or worse
We need to put wins on the board in the next 3 games and watch as the pretenders fade away. Teams like Port and Richmond Sydney are just waiting for a good sniff of the 8.

This game next week is what Brett Ratten is getting his contract extension for.
He simply must figure out how to get over the Scum this time, otherwise he could be in trouble.
Wonder if Buckley will be commentating this game....

Essendon* love to attack from the half back line. This is where most of there forward movements start. Our forwards and midfielders (obviously) must, must, must pressure there runners from half back. Do this and we win the game.
We have more class over the whole field than this mob but for someone un-godly reason don't do enough 1% stuff against them.

yeah those hoodoo games are the ones we need to win, this is how i see the remainder of the season,

Essendon* - Its time for revenge after beating us earlier in the season - WIN
Freo - Subi - Should of beaten them first time around, will be tough to beat them over there - LOSS
Richmond - Richmond will remember what we did to them Rd1, wont be as easy - WIN
Sydney - One of those hoodoo teams, home advantage should seal it - WIN
Collingwood - Different side to what played earlier in the year - LOSS
North - Another Hoodoo team, better chance than past years of beating them - WIN
Geelong - The guys will step up and push the pussycats, honourable loss - LOSS
Port - AAMI - Not sure about this one, flip a coin, going by current form - WIN
Melbourne - Closer battle than what everyone expects - WIN
Adelaide - Could be our next hoodoo team, something about the crows that gets under our noses - LOSS

Don't really agree with some of this ..................

How can you put Freo up for a win but Port down as a loss ??? Common that just ain't right ........... Sure we dropped a game to Freo earlier in the year, but that was a BAD loss and we will be out for revenge come rd 14 ..............

If we are SERIOUS about making the finals then we HAVE TO break our "more than 3 win's in a row" hoodoo .......... What better chance than against the Don's (who seem to pull off win's against us ATM), Freo (i't may be at Subi but he HAVE TO be able to win on the road, and Freo are 15'th ATM FOR CHRIST SAKE !!!!!!!) and Richmond (i'll cry if we drop this game !!!!!!!!!!)

Sydney have said they will start blooding kids if they lose the next 2 games (against the Pies and Crows at AAMI). I can see them loosing both and could well be in rebuild mode by the time we meet them. It will also be played at the Dome so, hopefully, we won't get fooled into being stranded on the wing's as we were at the SCG (oh and Sydney have lost what, their last 12 or so away games)

Collingwood will be a classic battle, not the cake walk we got in rd 8. That said they are, you know, our ........, so im pretty confident we can still take the points.

Roo's will well and truely be in "list management" mode by rd 18, and it's a hoodoo game we MUST win. That's 6 in a row.

Geelong will unfortunately "burst our bubble" in rd 19. That said, we could be lucky enough to catch the Cat's napping heading into the finals

God only know's where Port will be by rd 20, they could be fighting for a finals birth or sending players off for surgery ...........

Melbourne should be a nice % boost leading into the finals, but could bite us on the bumb if we "don't turn up to play" (eg get ahead of ourselves like we did with Freo)

The Crows will be a nice warm up heading into the final's, and a good indication on how we are traveling come year's end.

Cat's will will prob lose, Crows and Pies will be tough games, but the other 7 are ALL VERY WINABLE IMO !!!!!!!!!!
