On topic - Sauce is going to be a gun. Good taps and surprisingly good kicking skills for one so big. Still VERY young in terms of ruckmen. Will become a monster in a few years time as he continues to develop his game+athleticism

This is the silver lining (if there is one) with regards to Warnock's LTI - getting senior AFL games into Sauce now is just gold for his development and increases our ruck options and flexibility in the future.

Agree with everything you guys have had to say about Jacobs.Remember watching him at training when he first arrived at the club.He was doing some one on one marking drills against Hampson.Jacobs actually gave Hampson a schellacking and have been a fan since.
However,you guys have neglected to mention his most outstanding feature,and that is enormous courage and heart.Watched a lot of Jacobs running around with the Ants in the VFL.And there are a few old toughies running around who are more than happy to dish out a bit of old fashioned summary justice to the AFL new kids on the block.I tell ya,some of those old toughs are extremely brutal.even sadistic.They love nothin better than sitting a whiz band draftee on his lemonade and sarse.In fact some go out with the intention of launching the newbies into outer space.And i can tell ya Jacobs copped more than his share of floggin's.But Sammy never,ever backed off.He took his medicine with out a single whimper and just went back for....................The kid has massive courage and a heart as big as a cabbage.
