We've all been through the dreaded wedding thing, usually in September. I had to attend as MC at a wedding for a best mate on the night we played a final against Essendon* in 1993 IIRC and we ended up winning by 2 points in a classic. I had it taped and managed to avoid anyone telling me about the scores, until the groom's father burst in saying that we won by 2 points

Sounds like you won't have to worry about that, although maybe you might have a bit of a problem with a hangover during the ceremony (which of course can be cured with the hair of the dog during the reception). And to return to the topic of how best to bag the WC supporters, do you think your mate would mind if you wore your Carlton jumper to the reception?
