I don't think the ALP is any more enthusiastic about it. All they have done since they got in was delay the implementation of digital TV. They could have just spent $100 mil buying Cheap Chinese set top boxes for pensioners and getting a cheap rate for everyone else. Kev could have got us a discount for sure

and then have to replace them because the programme format changed from MPEG2 to MPEG4.... never saw that one coming :roll:

Spend the bloody money on the Broadband network and get on with it.

Alston was the Communications minister responsible for it's introduction, wasn't he? If not, who was?
