I went there a couple of days ago for the first time since the farewell match against Melbourne. I had an hour to kill after taking my family to the airport and before an appointment I had in town.
It hardly resembles the PP I used to know and I found it a bit sad to see it in its in-between state.
I went to the CFC shop and bought a couple of thinga and just out of idle curiosity, went for a walk in the carpark to count the Hyundais.
Saw one old one. I was expecting more, although there weren't any players there, only Storm players and a couple of hot looking chicks, whom I presume were their girlfriends or groupies.
Princes Park is the park in which the ground is situated as I recall and that will forever be Princes Park. The ground, which was known as the Princes Park Oval, is still there. Just called something else.
I hope to see it in its new glory before too long.
