Lappin shouldnt have played for the Bullants this year
He was a development coach yet when he played he stop the development of the players by monopolising the play. This didnt work from the games I saw.
Whether Lappin is a good communicator is something we both dont know but Ratten and co think he must be to earn a promotion.
Obviously the communication and listening skills of both Aisake O'hAilpin and Lappin were not firing on all cylinders the day they had their little spat.
The only thing I will say for certain is that its one of ths club's small tradgedies that Aisake never played a senior game for Carlton

I also think that it is a tragedy that Aisake didn't make it for a senior game. Until he was injured last year I would have put good money on him making it. But in 2008 he just wasn't the same player. I will miss him all the same.
As for Crosisca, I am pleased with what he did for us in the time he was with us. He was a great help to Teague and Lappo in the box on match day, he was useful with our young and under appreciated defenders and bringing Jamo over was very lucky for us indeed. Thanks for the good work.
Lappo's football brain is pretty good - I've heard him speak a couple of times and been impressed. He also tends to see things differently to many from what I've heard, which may not be a bad thing.
But like some others, I am happy enough to see him in the box more. On the field this year he was trying too hard to do too many things and when he screwed up (his disposal was quite ordinary at times) it had a negative effect on his message. I think his message will be more effective without that.
As for Saddo, I hope some sort of position can be found for him at the Bullants. From the way the club gushed about him on his retirement, it was clear he was appreciated for a lot more than just what he was doing on the field. Considering he was also playing out of position just about every week, I think he did pretty well.
