I hear that people from Wodonga AUS KICK have been complaining to the AFL for some time for not having AFL footballers visit the region and doing clinics with the kids.

Well it was Visy at Wodonga to the rescue.

On Sunday Dick flew Eddie and Sentanta up on his private helicoptor to Wodonga so they could be part of the AUS KICK there. From all reports the kids loved them both. Hopefully we have a few more kids now followng the blues after the good deed.

Good on your blues and well done Visy. It really is about the kids and the AFL often loses sight of this.

I'd have to say the AFL do a lot for kids up here in QLD.

Just wondering if the chopper can take me to the Gabba this Saturday night when my school team plays in the halftime Auskick match? :wink:

Canberra has LOADS of heliports available for dinners, dates, player visits etc!

I'm not sure who'd we want to come visit though i Can't Just put my finger on who we'd want to pop in for a quick one here... Either way, a visit before CHRIStmas would be Judd the ticket...

Maybe Ackland if he's available??

This is a bit late I know but I live up that way and two other ex-players made the trip also - Rod Ashmen and Paul "Molly" Meldrum.
