Personally i feel that this footy season thus far has lifted a bit of a cloud thats been hanging over me. All my life CFC have been a pillar of the VFL/AFL and always been a contender, and ive got immense joy from seeing us win 8 flags in my lifetime. The last few years had me wondering if i would ever get to savour a ninth one. It may be fricking presumptious but after yesterday, i reckon it wont be that long before were playing off for one !!
For frig's sake were in the 8 after round 12, remembering where weve come from the last few years, who needs viagra !! Just kidding !

There are just so many upsides to yesterday its scary.
The coach coached well, and i reckon the players really want to play well for him and also for that most beautiful simplistic of all footy jumpers !
And were getting depth, and i knew we would win at 3/4 time, the belief is contagious ! So is winning, Ratts knows that, you get a taste and you want more.
I know there are probably better topics to put this under but i also just wanted to say a few words on the 22 who made me one happy fart !
Perhaps some things that others may not always appreciate about them.

Carrazzo lots to work on but getting there, leather magnet.
Thornton bet hes glad he stayed, will be rewarded.
Waite courage, will play more games than his old man.
Simpson wants success and plays to get it.
Scotland you might get to another GF if you persist.
Judd will finish as an all time great, irrepressible.
Stevens isnt Braveheart, but is slick and has a role.
Fisher unusual player, will survive and prosper.
Kreuzer a star is born, what a year for the kid already.
Murphy 300 gamer, enough said.
Betts thought you were gone, now its just starting.
Fevola turnstile clicker, his type dont come along often, get 100.
Hampson likeable progress.
Cloke plays on heart, admirable and still young.
Gibbs oh you are a little beauty and a joy to watch the next 300.
Bentick worthy foot shoulder/soldier.
Armfield pick 40 something ? That will do nicely ta muchly !
Grigg really really like him, seems a natural tough nut.
Wiggins CFC feel good story, deserves name on the locker.
